I've met a few people that have been on talkshows its pretty interesting. if you were ever on one what was the subject? tell me about your experience. was your story true?

I was on a talk show that was hammering the police about a shooting. The attorney for the family was very hostile and tried to cut off all responses that were against his interests. He said the district attorney shouldn't investigate police shootings since they work with the police, therefore it was a conflict of interest.
I replied that when attorneys were accused of misconduct, they were investigated by other attorneys throug the bar association. The lawyer got very upset and the host quickly said "interesting point." They then wouldn't let me say anything else and I was done..
The best part was the attorney ended up losing his law license because he was "manufacturing evidence" and trying to get people to commmit perjury so his client would win the lawsuit. They didn't colllect a dime after all the hassle and dragging the Police Dept. thru the mud.

Yes, I've been on a talk show about Autism because my son has it and I talked about my experience as a mother and how I found out about my son and how I delt with it and stuff like that...but it made me cry to recall the details and the emotions

I haven't, other than a high school debate on TV. I had a friend who was on "Geraldo" once. He got a call from Geraldo himself and said that the theme of the show was something totally different. When he arrived in NYC, in the limo & got the hotel VIP treatment, he got on the show and his ex-wife was on it and accused him of spousal abuse. My friend was so angry that he almost got up and walked out. He said he could see why Geraldo rubs people the wrong way. He purposely lied to my friend and set him up only to go on national TV to confront his ex-wife.

no those ppl always seem really trashy. its just all drama. i gave up the drama after my teenagee years.
