I love The Bravery, and I love that song. I can't figure it out either, though. I even googled the lyrics to Summer Of 69, just in case there was a reference to it, but I couldn't find one. Hopefully the lyrics will be in the liner notes...Great taste in music, by the way!

Refering to the Plymouth Valient a Compact car from the 60's, cherry meaning very good condition.
