It won't stick as well which means it won't pull out as many as those nasty little blackheads. Just use a facial astringent on your nose. If you don't have that just use a little bit of rubbing alcohol and maybe a tad of water on a cotton ball to clean your skin before applying the strip. Have fun - I'm always fascinated with the results on the strip.

I always rinse off the residue because I think It's like leaving glue on my face if I don't. I don't want my skin to react badly to it or zits to appear because the residue clogged my skin or something.
That said, I've not left it on without rinsing to say what'll really happen. I'd rather not find out though.
