I am 33 weeks pregnant and I woke up tonight feeling sick. Stuff keeps comming up in my throat and I can't get it to quit. I just want some sleep! Will someone please help me get rid of this!

if you have some, drink milk eat icecream. and prop your pillows up high so you are sort of sleeping in a "sitting" possition if that makes any sense. lol
i know exactly how you feel it is really horrible especially when you just want a sleep !!
but seriosuly the milk and ice cream were reccommended by my doctor as they neutralise the acid in your tummy.
p.s. i find that if i drink water or any other juice apart from milk it actually makes it worse.

If you are drinking cokes, cola or carbonated beverages DON'T. Avoid fatty or fried foods and tomato based foods. Eating small portions helps. Since you are pregnant I don't care to name products....better let your doctor do that. I have heard a few bites of raw potato can help. But being pregnant, I don't know if that would be wise or not. Sleep with your head and shoulders raised. You can buy a wedge pillow that is great for this purpose. I noticed these on the big online auction(that I'm not suppose to mention here). Keep a glass of water by your bed. Hope you feel better soon. The following may help:

if it is acid reflux i suggest you go get some tum's
