In general, Iranians are good folks; a lot of them have come to the States and done well. One runs a travel agency, and I bought a ticket there. But the Iranian regime is a disaster which has found a place to happen. I sincerely hope that the government cleans up its act before it leads the country into war.

Coming from and American who vividly remembers the 444 days our hostages were held in captivity, my opinion of the Iranian People is not too bad. I respect the Iranian People as being people just like any other people. The Nation of Iran is a bit lower. My opinion of the Nation of Iran focuses more on the ruling elite of Iran. My opinion of the ruling Mahala's and the correct President of Iran are rather poor. I remember one of the council women of Iran praising the hostage taking as if it was a glorious thing. This is the image I have of the leadership of Iran and it stinks. I will never be in favor of even talking to Iran so long as the Mullahs and the current ruling elite are in power in Iran. They are the original terrorists who broke International Law when they took our hostages and the world did not adequately punish them. Now one of those very same hostage takers is President of that terroristic State. Is their any reason anyone in the USA should have any different regard? They still regard the USA as "The Great Satan" , so why should anyone in the USA regard the State of Iran in any better light? I am vehemently opposed to so much as sharing tea and crumpets with any member of this Terroristic Government and will vote against any member of my government who makes any overtures in this direction. As for the people of Iran, I who heatedly support their overthrow of their current government.

Iran is such a charming and beautiful country, with so much beuatiful history and artwork to offer the world (no, not just oil), and the people are, in general very peaceful and wonderful. It's just too bad they've had such bad leadership over the past decades. As well as current, for sure. Surely at some point, ppl will get tired of fighting.

Your President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, has threatened to "wipe Israel off the map".
This is a direct threat and has been taken seriously by Israel and it's allies.
Ahmadinejad had previously offended Israel by describing the Holocaust, where 6 million jews were destroyed, as "a myth" and suggesting that Israel be moved to Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska.
Unfortunately, there are good people in Iran who, through no fault of their own, are about to be destroyed by a pre-emptive strike by Israel which is set to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities along with everyone and everything that might be in the way.
Iran was warned many times to stop it's nuclear proliferation and has boldly and blatantly refused...
now it's time for Israel to take things to the next level.
