It depends on what phone you have..but im gonna guess that from your phone menu press "messages" or press the menu button and select messages if there isn't already a short cut. Then select "create" or "compose" or whatever it might say in your phone to create a new text message..then in the "to:" field, put in your husband's cell phone number and then type whatever you want to text him, then press 'send'..

If you would like to text him from your computer try going to your service provider's website. I know for sure that cingular has an option to text a mobile phone from their website.

if you look int the manual for the phone or find out what modle phone it is you should be able to find a free manual online.
