I don't know from seeing the address.

Does yahoo is using SQL Server or somthing else?
What about NET. ?

This is not ASP/.NET.

It does look like they are using server-side java right now, but I've seen yahoo use CGI. They probably still use a combination of both Java and CGI Perl.

As far as for a database... without using .NET, I don't see a reason anybody would use Microsoft SQL Server, or Windows at all. Perhaps they are using Oracle, the industry standard for larger databases.

i think for programming they r using java and php.. i dont think they r using .net
i dont know about their back end database, probably Oracle.. can't know
