I personally, am a fan of the show. Many people do not and wish that the program it replaced, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, would return. Will it make it? Do you like it?

I think they shouldn't be so racist on the show. It should be called the "African-American Donnellys" and drop the use of the more racist "Black".

Anyway, my survey of Yahoo users reported Studio 60 as "The GREATEST TV Show ever":

i think of it is going to certainly stay on the air... so a minimum of NBC is merely no longer properly-known for the station that often cancels shows. i'm no longer making plans on getting in touch in yet another tutor, because of the fact every time i do, they get cancelled. Black Donnelly's is an extremely good and exciting tutor... i don't get the reasoning at the back of cancelling it. maximum shows i'm getting quite into, I start up observing interior the 2nd season (Greys, scrubs, etc). supply them a minimum of an entire season

The first episode was strong. The second episode was week. If they don't do something explosive in episode three they may suffer the same fate as Studio 60. This is a business of numbers and they are likely to lose theirs.

I saw it for the first time tonight. I really liked it, but not seeing the other shows before this one, I was a little lost. I will watch it again next week. You have to stay with most of these shows to keep up with the plot. Then just when you start enjoying them, they take them off.

It has bad reviews on metacritic http://www.metacritic.com/tv/shows/blackdonnellys

I watched a couple minutes of it an hated it. Critics say that the show is heavy handed. Paul Haggis sucks. Everything he does is heavy handed - crash, million dollar baby.

Also, the show is a midseason replacement, so that's not a good sign either.

Why don't you just watch The Departed about a hundred times instead?

I don't think it will make it, but then I never thought Heroes would make it either.
