So we have been seperated for a few months now and now he has been calling me for a few weeks now saying that he loves me and that he wants to work on things, and oh yea by the way if he could get my drivers license and creditcard info to rent a car to go out of town...for a week...
(I have received NO money since the seperaton for any of my bills)
can you guys imagine the look on my face :) ??? What would you do ? give him the benefit of a doubt and believe him, or say hell NO !!!
and if something was to happen to the car, would I be responsible for paying for it ???

NO, NO, NO. You're divorced for a reason right? There are so may things he could do with your personal information and your credit card. It may start out as renting the car, then he pays for gas, food, entertainment. You're already not seeing money for bills. Do you really think he's going to pay you back for the car rental? You would have to rent the car for him because ID is needed before the car is released so yes, you would be responsible if something happens to the car. Tell him HELL NO!!!!

Tell him HELL NO.
Yes if something happens to the car, you will be totally responsible and dont forget, he can use your credit card number to pay the rent and you will have to pay the bill. Think about it.
Once out of the relation cut away all the link, this is my advice. It never heels your wound, but make it more worst.

Have you ever watched Judge Judy? This kind of thing happens on her show all the time! She would say you are "just stupid" if you do rent him a car, because you'll end up on her show when he doesn't pay you back!

The second answer would be better, and yes you would be responsible for anything that your name is accountable for with a rental car. He's probably taking his female friend out of town, with your help if you let him.
