how do I type a question mark upside down on my comp. keyboard, like in spanish punctuation?

Press and hold the Alt key while typing in the extended ASCII code of the character. When you let go of the Alt key, the character will appear. A common letter would be é, which is Alt-130. You can view the entire extended character set by going to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Character Map. Highlight the character you want, then cut and paste. When you select a character, look in the bottom right corner of the Map box to see the Alt shortcut.

In word, there's a better way. You can type in:

'CTRL+ALT+Shift+/'

The / is where the question mark is. Word says to use 'CTRL+ALT+?'... but that's kinda confusing, since you have to hold Shift to get the ?.
