I like your Q:? and observation that speaks volumes Morto!
I however don't think Marriage is out-dated, but, it also would be nice if Married Men and Women also posted positive messages about how they have sustained their marriages to give others hope and us all get "the other side of the coin".
Yes,......I agree, the Divorce rate is so high, that Marriage in irtself is automatically synonymous with Divorce as a likely preclusive expectation of how any marriage may fare.

Marriage is as good or, as bad, as the individual(s) make it. I like being married, just not the last one I was married to. HE has no business EVER being married, and even less business ever being a father. No it isn't outdated. Just people who don't want to work a marriage out. So much easier to say "I quit" Too many people getting married for everything EXCEPT love.

Sorry, you're incorrect. no individual has a "correct" to marry, and society has each correct to restriction such establishments as they see fit. Even Godless Communist u.s. did not enable homosexuals to marry; truly, they were prosecuted. at the same time as my non secular beliefs form my outlook on existence, what you're forgetting is that prepared faith is provided particular protection below the first change, being easily one of in undemanding words 2 communities provided such protections (the different being the click). gay marriage is in undemanding words the starting up of non secular persecution in this united states; truly, many supporters of gay marriage recommend the eventual revocation of religions tax-exempt status for figuring out to purchase keen a pair of political issue, that's made worse by ability of the particular undeniable actuality that the particular issue in contact runs opposite to maximum ALL non secular teachings. In 2000, the journalist Stanley Kurtz wrote a piece of writing about the starting up of the gay marriage circulation in statement mag which quoted some radical activists as retaining that the finest purpose of the gay marriage circulation isn't about rights, in spite of the undeniable fact that the destruction of the corporation of marriage. How does that sq. with equality for all? gay bans are also in the Koran, you know, so please do not basically cite the Bible as even if that's in undemanding words Christians that disapprove.

Too many people get married for the sake of it as they know how easy it is to get divorced these days - this certainly wasn't my way of thinking when I got married. I'm not saying I don't believe in divorce (because I'm my husband's 2nd wife!) but if they made it more difficult then maybe people would actually think about the committment that marriage is before getting hitched.

With all the divorces going on are you kidding ?How can you get a divorce if your not married ? Its more like the vows are outdated . Instead of saying until death do you part they should say until cheating do you part.

marriage is not outdated, however finding a person that has the same outlook towards life is, everyone changes nowadays, I had thought that marriage was to last forever, but it wasnt when the other person wants to run around and cheat and llie and ruin you.

It could be outdated. It depends on how you look at it and what your priorities are. Just because I'm getting married doesn't mean that you have to. Really, I don't give a shite what you do, why do you care what my love and I are doing??
And yes, I've noticed the title and thought it was rather amusing.
