What point are people trying to make when they say this ?

Who is being harmed and why ? Who is benefiting from it ?

We also work a lot harder than a lot of the world. In Germany, the work week is 32 hours long. In France it's 35. I can't remember the last time I only worked 40 hours in a week. It was probably back when I was working part time.

It is probably bad that some people fly around in private jets to tell other people not to drive their cars.

You just tell them that we are also producing the most product while using that % of resources. Compare the % of resources used VS the total output % and you will see we use our resources better.

No it is not "bad".

It is because we deserve a larger share of the world's resources. We are America, goddamnit!
