I am 1 semester away from graduating with my AA in Psychology. Unfortunatly, I have had a lot of extenuating circumstances happen in the last two weeks and I have missed a lot of school as a result. I am a 4.0 student and am relying on the High Honor Scholarships to gain my doctorate in Psychology at the University. However with everything that has gone on so far, I will be lucky if I pull a 1.8 this semester. My grandfather, a professor at the college I go to has fallen deathly ill and between me an my mother we are the only people around to take care of him. I found out I was pregnant with # 5 and me and two of my children have been in and out of the ER with Mono. My husband is on the verge of losing his job and I prolly will have to go back to work just to keep our house. My question is if I withdraw from my classes is it going to hurt my chances of getting financial aid when I come back next year to finish my degree? I can t finish school with out financial aid.

I suppose one option would be to talk to your professors about your extenuating circumstances and ask for incomplete grades so that you come back later and finish your school work.

Also you should talk to your financial aid office. They may just put you on financial aid probation for a semester.
