I was wondering if an amendment to the Constitution was legally allowed to be amended. For instance the Twenty-sixth Amendment denies even the United States the authority to go against it, but if the amendment were to be amended omitting that part then anything could go.

Yes. You could make a amendment to cancel the amendment. I think they did that for prohibition.

It appears here that ignorance is bliss. WORDS MEAN THINGS. The "repeal" of an amendment is NOT the same as the "amending" of an existing constitutional amendment. An existing constitutional amendment canNOT BE AMENDED.
Use your God-given intelligence. If it could have, there would have been no need to introduce and ratify the 21st Amendment in order to repeal the 18th. They could have simply changed (amended) the offending wording/section, BUT such is not an allowed constitutional process.

The constitution is a thought from the past.!!!
It worked for them in those day's. Thats it. They ammend it all the time.
None of it means anything anymore.
All they do is say you did this or that to take away your consti. rights.
They are taking guns and gun rights in Jefferson county Co. due to colimbin. I lived around that area when it happened. They closed my security agency down and flat out stole my gun. I was refused a lawyer and can go on and on how many consti. rights were violated. The court house was purchased by the judges that work there. Pro. B ball players were going to buy the court house but the judges did. When you were fined you had to make your check out to the Combined clerks of jefferson county.
THEREFORE: judges send everyone to Intervention. This was a updated version of probation.
Intervention was bought by one rich man.
He turned it into BI Inc. At that time IF you put into your search engine BI Inc. / Intervention it took you straight to nasdaq. SOOOO cop's are once again a tool of the rich mans rule.
This was going across the country like wildfire. They call it the arrest anyone policy. IF a cop is called someone has to go to jail to pay for the cops wadges and gas, vehical ect... NO Freebee's. Then they fine you and you must pay for Intervention.

There is no constitution. It's just a peice of paper and a thought.

Yes. An Amendment to the US Constitution can itself be amended. And it has happened in our history:

In 1917, Congress and the states ratified the XVIII th Amendment, which created liquor prohibition in the US.

In 1933, that amendment was itself amended by the XXI st Amendment, which repealed prohibition, and voided the XVIII th Amendment.

Yes. Any part of the U.S. Constitution may be amended or repealed. Of course, the process is intentionally very cumbersome.
