DO NOT consider American cinema or television as an example of American culture or values. There are so many people in this country that disapprove of the shocking, sexual, violent stuff that is so prevalent in "entertainment" today. Hollywood puts this stuff in movies and it's included in tv in order to get ratings - the more shocking something is, the more viewers they figure they'll get. And anyway, Hollywood as a group tends to lean more to the left politically than most of America, meaning that even in pure politics, Hollywood does not represent America.
About American culture in general, I would say that Americans are pretty open-minded. We believe in freedom, letting people live their lives how they want so long as no one else is harmed by their choices. By law, people are allowed to live in ways some others might consider "immoral," but that doesn't mean all Americans behave this way. Most of us are just trying our best to lead honest, decent, honorable lives.
To deal directly with some of the things you mentioned - I would say one-night stands are not as common as tv would have you think, and that some young people in high school and middle school have had sex, but that this is not encouraged or approved of at all.
I hoped this answers your question...

American TV and movies certainly don't represent the moral values of most Americans. Not hardly.

My young Punjab, the basic principles of american culture is based on greed. You can should do whatever you have to do to make money, as long as you don't get caught doing it. Our religions aren't as restrictive as yours so we can do almost anything and create a justifiable reason (or not who cares.. )Rules are made to keep the poor people poor. We're watching you Indians become rich; but don't worry we will find a way to stop you and China too. We like being number 1 and will do whatever it takes to stay there.

Yes well. We'd all like to think our lives are like half hour sitcoms on network television, what with all the loose behavior and all, but in reality most of us live hum drum lives of quiet desperation.
We're a lot more stodgy and conservative than what popular culture would lead you to believe.
