If humans evolved from primordial ooze then so did all animals. why aren't they evolving to where we are at? And why are there so many different types of animals and organisms if we all started from the same crap??

No one has ever seen a new species evolved - or- shown evidence of one species becoming another. The evidence is NOT available. It takes just as much faith to accept evolution as it does creation. With evolution, though, there's no "God" to remind you of your sins. No God means no absolute moral yardstick by which to measure behavior. Everything is permissible. If God is dead there are no rules.

They are not evolving towars being human because there is really nothing special about being human from an evolutionary standpoint. That is to say, human is not the end goal of evolution.

Evolution is a result of adaption, which is the result of variation, which is the result of mutation.

In any given species of living organisms, there is variation within the species. It is present in humans and it is present in one celled organisms.

Did you know that some humans cannot contract HIV? And that some of these same humans cannot contract the plague? This is because a mutation occured in their ancestors which prevented them from having the docking sites for either of these viruses.

Likewise, maybe the one celled organisms on one side of a pond have a mutation which makes them more tolerant to radiation from the sun than the very same species of one celled organisms on the other side of the pond.

P.S. Don't assume you're one of the few who can't contract the plague or HIV. It is only a very small group of people decended from a certain village in England.

Because only a human would think that that the "goal" of evolution is to make everything into humans. That would be like giraffes wondering why all animals aren't evolving longer and longer necks!

Evolution has no singular "goal" ... it just is.

As for your last question, "And why are there so many different types of animals and organisms if we all started from the same crap?"

The answer is that evolution is not a "chain" it is a branching TREE. Branching, branching, branching. All species come into being by a branching of one species into another. Some go extinct. Some go on and change dramatically. Some don't change at all for a million years. And some just branch again.

And that is why we have so many wonderful species.

you won't know this yet many researchers have contributed already to concept of evolution. that's critically prevalent via the clinical community since's verifiable and repeatable - independently. explanation why we strive drugs on animals is because of the concept of evolution. a million. after we grew to grow to be self-conscious and arranged to pass suggestion by way of generations. 2. to stay to tell the tale. 3. there became into no lively motivation to grow to be something else. We adapt to stay to tell the tale. 4. the place did they get their concept from? If a place is risky, you progression or create something to furnish your self with protection. it somewhat is common instincts. 5. Why could they? what's the earnings? Termites have created habitats that makes use of passive cooling... bats have a sort of altruism... why is it that we those animals grow to be like us? this is like asking, why do no longer human beings evolve the skill to work out extra of the electromagnetic spectrum like birds... 6. you have extremely an concept in regards to the mind of animals huh? 7. Apes are relatively extremely clever. They hire strategies and what no longer. Why do you preserve insisting that evolution's end purpose is to be closer to human beings??? Evolution could no longer care much less approximately us.. that's a non-clever stress that creates selection. 8. that's a commerce off. this is why we developed the family contributors shape of two human beings - one to guard the toddler and the different to guard the carer. Tigers could have extra desirable claws yet we are able to make sharper strategies. 9. confident. Ring species includes strategies.

This shows me that you are missing a key concept in evolution...

We did not evolve into something 'better' than anything else,.. just something more suited to the environment.

Each organism evolves to better take advantage of the environment that they are occupying...

For example, let's say that there is a very dry year, and most birds are dying of thirst. By chance there are a couple of birds with beaks that can break through the tough wall of a cactus to get water,...

Those birds survive and the others die...

Over time, the bird population will have thicker and tougher beaks.

You see?

At the same time, the spikier cacti are not getting killed by the birds, so they get spikier over time too...

First of all, oragnisms are indeed evolving. That's why bacteria are resistant to the drugs that were used to successfully destroy them years ago.

Secondly, not everything is evolving to be like humans. Everything is evolving towards the optimal configuration to survive in the niche it inhabits. Something like a human could never survive on the ocean floor or in the canopy of a rainforest, so things in those biomes are not evolving to be anything like humans. Even things that live in environments similar to humans have lifestyles that are different and require different adaptations.

Evolution doesn't mean "becoming more like humans." Evolution means "becoming better at being what you already are."

Because you don't have to have a big brain to survive. Most animals have major physical attributes that distinguish their survival. The major human attribute is our brain. It's our brain which helps us manufacture tools which make up for our physical short-comings.

Evolution isn't about monkeys turning into humans. It's simply that mutations which help with survival tend to get passed along more than those which hinder survival. That's all it is.

The reason there are so many animals is because of the many mutations along the way. From the earliest amoeba mutating all the way to the different kinds of birds. There are many ways to achieve the same thing, that's the beauty of nature.

============READ THIS PLEASE==========

Evolution actually means getting 'better' to take more advantage of its surroundings (also to become more powerful to protect itself from all other organisms present in it's surroundings).

We all started from a single cell. This explanation will clear your point.Cells combined to form multicellular organisms.Say some cells made a small worm .The worm was like a jelly.but when predators came,it evolved shells and became amonites.but after some time the became squids and evolved new weapons.

Humans also wanted to take advantage. The y evolved hi-fi brains and became the best creature on earth-remember-EARTH.

Now ,u think of alien evolution.they can be more evolved than us ,having different body shapes and new weapons.

Humen are nothing without guns and other tecnologies.

so remember-evolution takes millions of years.

When humans eventually become extinct, either by overpopulation or by nuclear disaster, the very last person alive will not wonder whether God created us.
Depending on how you quantify success, rats are probably the most successful mammal on Earth, and will be here when we are gone. Humans are just one very successful branch of the evolutionary tree, that's all. We just like to think we can survive anything because there is the perception that we are created in God's image.
Such arrogance - to think that we are not related to the other apes.

I think you are assuming that humans are somehow the pinnacle or "goal" of evolution. In nature the only "goal" is reproduction, so species are not evolving into more complex or intelligent creatures like humans, but evolving into forms that are more reproductively successful in their particular habitat. Humans are good at making more humans. Cockroaches are good at making more cockroaches. Rhinos are good at making more rhinos. Evolution is not making rhinos and cockroaches more like humans, it is making them better at making new little cockroaches and rhinos.
There are many different kinds of organisms because there are many different ways to live and successfully reproduce. Life finds a way to survive wherever it possibly can. There are many different climates all over the world with different average temperatures, precipitation levels, and terrains - each with thousands of species adapted to live in that particular climate, not to mention all the species that can live in a variety of climates. Life exists in so many different forms for one simple reason - because it can.

What on earth makes you think evolution would make all animals evolve "towards" the same organism? Think about it, that makes less sense than thinking everything was "designed" by an imaginary ghost-thing! Evolution leads to diversity, not towards a single point! LOL!
