Mystic River was excellent. The acting is superb, Sean Penn is incredibly moving. It won best picture and best director (Clint Eastwood.) It's definitely a movie that you will talk with other people about afterward. Good, intelligent choice.

A really good movie. Not a movie to satisfy audiences; it's a very gloomy picture, a hard one, indeed, but intense, deep, and very human. Actors are sublime; movie timing and tone perfects. Nothing is said but exposed. It's the movie of a master.

Mystic River is a predictable movie.
Whether or not it is a good movie is wholly dependent on whether or not you like to know the ending two hours before it happens.

I think it's a good movie because it's well-made, well-acted, and has an interesting story. It was kind of dark and depressing, though.

Very good. The acting is well above par great story, tragic in a lot of ways. You will really enjoy it I think.

I think you should see it for yourself, it was a really good movie. Great acting from all actors, which doesn't happen a lot. Well worth your time.
