What it would be like to have been friends with say, your father when he was your age. Imagine you are at your age right now and your father went back in time and you were friends with him. Don't you wonder what kind of person he was and whether he was chilled out?

I am a spitting image of my dad, personality wise and we can only handle so much of each other before we end up arguing over something stupid. By stupid I mean we argue over things from what the "correct" way to load a dishwasher is to what is the "best" kind of lock for your front door! LOL
Now that I'm an adult I find it humorous and we have a wonderful father-daughter relationship, but as a kid I hated the man with every bit of my being. Something tells me that my dad and I would have had a very toxic friendship!
Now that I think of it though, if I went back in time to the point of him being the same age as I am right now (22) then I guess it wouldn't be too terrible. He was in the US Navy and living it up in Greece. I guess I couldn't complain!

All the time, my dad died when I was 13 and I am now pushin' 30. I always wish I could have at least met him before he died because I've found that I turned out like him in a lot of ways even though I never met him.
My mom left him when I was 3 months old.
My mom, I know she is cool as hell! She is already my friend!

My dad was a 70's California long blonde haired., pot smoking surfer. He'd be pretty cool to hang with. Now he is a business owning short brown haired responsible guy. still cool, but i think it would be fun for a day to hang out with the old one

Actually, I have and sometimes it really freaks me out because it feels like I could just tell them anything because their one of my friends!! Well maybe not anything but it is strange to think about it. What about you?!!?:)

i think it would be so cool to hangout with my dad when he was my age (20). were good friends as it is but i bet it would be so much cooler if he was young again. i bet hed smoke me out.
