how do i avoid this and how do i set up the layer so that the blocking never happen again..?the specific design..and..
who has an idea on how to do perfect and functional drop down menu(step by step)?..

please help me...

your browser is not telling you that ypu have created a pop-up window... svcpk 2 on winXP tells you that is preventing from running activex control, or behivor... it always shows that warning, even after you have already click on it, and allow for it to run... this warning will not appear once you have published your newli created webpage on a production environment...
I might be wrong, but that is what I have noticed every time you create a rollover... and the reason is... because dreamweaver does that by running a java script. So don't worry about the warning... it only appears while testing on your local pc.

This may be a solution to your problem, I have used it before and it doesn't seem to be blocked as a pop-up window.

If you have Dreamweaver, you probably have Fireworks as well. And in Fireworks you can easily create your dropdown menu. I don't know if you are familier with Fireworks at all, but basically what is great about Fireworks is that you can create an image of your website and then slice it and then export it to Dreamweaver.
First create an image of you website in Fireworks. Then you want to slice it using the tool on your left hand site -under "web" you will se the slice tool on your right hand site. You use this tool to create squares on your image, create seperate slices for where you want to place the text and where you want to place your pop up menu and other images. Once you have sliced your image, right click on the slice where you want to create your pop-up menu. The menu that pops up allows you to create a pop-up menu (which is the same as a drop down menu). First you type in the name of your links and the adresses of the links. Then you can click "appearance" and choose what you want your drop down menu to look like. Under "position" you can choose where you want to place your drop down menu. When you are satisfied click done.
Then you want to export your sliced image (your website) including your drop down menu to dreamweaver. Just click in your right hand corner where there is a small image of Fireworks, it says "quick export". When you click that you can choose "dreamweaver" and then "export html".
Then you just choose where to export your html and images. Tick "put images in subfolder" and save.

Then close Fireworks, and open dreamweaver and open the Html version of your image in dreamweaver. Your dropdown menu should be there and you can continue to develop your website.
