Why do photos appear twice when I do search for them from the start menu??

One is the real file, the other one maybe a shortcut that is put in the History.

if u look in your documents from "my computer" you'll see there are photos and documents,but you have 'em in the icon which's named "my documents"on the desktop,but another story:if you delete a photo or a document ,and if you need it later you can task "search" and it'll be founded from your PC
