I think we all feel a little nevrvous and anxious... We all want to have healthy babies bottom line... I think there are many women out there that do feel a bit of disappointment when they find out that their babies gender is opposite of what they are hoping for... Many women are embarrassed to actually admit it. No worries though we all go on to love our babies regardless.

When I had my daughter, I remember saying I would love a girl, but it doesn't matter. When I found out her gender my reaction was so strong, that I wondered if I would have been upset if it were a boy...

I am expecting now and would love another girl, and I have the same fears... Will the baby be healthy first and foremost, and how will my reaction be if the baby is a boy?? Regardless, I will love my baby with everything I have...

Well, as far as finding out whether I was having a boy or girl... I felt nothing but excitement. That was never a concern of mine because I just considered myself to be lucky to even be pregnant (we battled infertility for 7 years prior to conceiving our first child). So boy..girl..mattered little to me. And I was excited to find out either way.

But the night before an ultrasound in general... I was always nervous because I was always afraid they would find something wrong. I guess that is normal for a lot of women. And then the ultrasound techs rarely are allowed to give you much information and I hate it when they are all quiet while doing the exam and you are thinking the worst because they aren't talking..... it freaks me out! :)

Anyway, good luck with your ultrasound... I hope your baby, boy or girl, is healthy and strong! Focus on what is truly important... that is my advice. :) All good things...!

I'm excited. I am hoping for a girl, but know it's a boy. I will be thrilled with either. As long as he/she doesn't keep to where you can't see what it is then there should be no problems. As long as I have a healthy baby then I am happy. I will be pleasantly surprised if it is a girl, but as I said I am almost positive it is a boy and will be excited, even in a house full of boys (my hubby is included in the boys). Good luck either way.

20 weeks pregnant.

Happy and excited! Couldn't wait to find out if it was a boy or girl. And you know what, I hoped for a girl but got a boy and it turned out so great! He is such a joy (still, 10 years later) and now I'm super-glad I had a boy. So either way it can be good news. Good luck!

When I was pregnant a lot of people were hoping it was a boy so I started to feel like it was gonna be a boy. But then my instict was a girl and I was right. Dont be disappointed if its a boy because you would love that baby no matter what. Just hope that she/he will be healthy

I didnt care whether I had a boy or girl. I just wanted my baby to be healthy...so I had no trouble sleeping. My husband was in the utrasound room with me and wanted a girl. When we found out it was a girl, he started jumping up and down and doing what I call his "Boomer" dance (his nickname is Boomer). Then he went outside to get some air, doing his "Boomer" dance the whole way. People were looking at him like he was crazy and one guy said, "Congratulations" He didnt even know why he was dancing but he must have guessed!

Take a warm bath, drink warm milk, turn off the tv, turn on the radio to soft music, And you may want to get off the computer. teehee
I am up because i got test back today and were good but also bad because i need more test for my heart. So i need to take my own advise,
So lets just back away from the computer together lol.

Really congrats hun. The test will be fun. bring your baby book to add info to it.
And if it is a boy things will be good to. I have 3 boys. Maybe someday i will get a grand daughter.

I was very excited to see this little person growing inside me it is truly amazing. I wanted to find out , I think it is a surprise no matter when you find out birth or ultra sound. If you dont get to find out this time you can always have another ultrasound later. Pregnancy is a beautiful experience enjoy.

I felt a little sick hoping everything would be fine. And was worried that things might not be. Children are a precious gift. I have friends who have been trying to conceive for seven years now and they wouldn't care at all!
