You see, when I tried installing the Sims 2 University, and when it tried to update it usually says "error during installation update" then it starts terminating. I have a question regarding this, do you need to disable those anti-virus programs (like Norton or McAfee) and any steps on how I can install it properly and preparing for Installation? Hopefully you can answer this. Thanks in advance.

You have to install the first Sims 2 because Sims 2 University is the expansion pack.
