Then perhaps if we are to believe this Yahoo news photo many South Americans can readily spot a Nazi and are willing to make a large wanted poster?

Fred Barnes made a good point today. He said whenever you see pictures of a huge crowd of protestors, the pics are always from an above the crowd view. When the protestors are few in number, the pics are up close at street level to make the crowds look bigger than they are.

If there were really serious demonstrations in South America, we would have seen them by the tens of thousands. Instead, we see either dozens or hundreds.

Looks like MOST of South America doesn't take the protest or anti Bush mania seriously.

I'm not sure there are all that many Nazis left for the South Americans to spot. While it is true that many former Nazis did flee to Brazil and South America. I'm sure it isn't but so hard to spot out German people living in Hispanic countries though.

First of all, Guatemala is not in South America. South America starts in Colombia.

I didn't understand your question at all, maybe because of my non-native English, but using commas at your question would help.

Anyway...

Anyone is familiar with nazis, anyone knows what happened in Germany during Hitlers' time.

To make things clear:
The nazis that scaped to South America: were not more than a dozen of important figures of the nazi regime, not thousands of them like some people like to believe. They entered in the countries secretly, the government of those countries didn't know nazis were entering. In fact, the Bolivian government deported Klaus Barbie to France in 1982.

Nazis went to some South American countries because those countries probably had no extradition treaties with Allied nations. Also many governments, and not just in South America will accept almost anyone who arrives with money and is unlikely to commit criminal offences in that country. As for the banner, WAKE UP. They are accusing George Bush and the USA in general of being Fascist.

Are you suggesting that South Americans and Latin Americans view Bush as a Nazi? I think they've thought this for many US presidencies. The US has really been a bastard down there.

Yes.However,as WWII ended in Europe 62 years ago(May),a 'nazi' who turned 18 the year it ended,if still alive, will have his 80th birthday this year.
