We have become all that we despise. In the name of righteousness we have become full of iniquity In the name of freedom we have become oppressors.
My God what will we tell are children when they ask why?

Like most empires, the US has never been in the habit of practicing what it preaches. That's one of the sad facts about a country that could otherwise be a beacon of freedom and democracy to the rest of the world.

Only when the US puts human rights and justice above its dependence on cheap consumer goods and oppressive labor markets, will anyone believe our rhetoric about spreading freedom and democracy.

Well essentially Germany is not in favor of the United States in any respect. The fact that they got information to probablly thwart future attacks on me and my family, is great. I don't care how they got it. They knew these men were involved with the enemy, and they got what they needed to know. Up untill the publicity of these wars and the left leaning media doing anything it can to undermine this administration, interrogations like this and worse I'm sure were performed in past conflicts. This is just another attempt to make the US look bad.
