I want to know the undeniable facts as to what makes women more mature than men.

Also, if women are more mature than men, shouldn't women only be allowed to be Judges, Lawyers, Presidents, Managers & any other high decision making job such as these? Being more mature means you make more mature decisions to better society. Shouldn't men be banned from these kinds of jobs because of potential immaturity in decisions that have great negative costs, even cost lives in some cases? Shouldn't men only have hard labor jobs, or any jobs that doesn't require much mature decision making?

Lastly, if men can ultimately never be more mature than women, why should men even try? Why not just have men follow the orders of women?

By the way, I don't believe one is more mature than the other or anything like that, I'm just asking this question to learn from you about this.

What are your thoughts?

AnArdRi - If you think I made a generalization, you clearly didn't read my entire question. This isn;t what I believe, it's what I hear people say all the time, and wonder where there logic is coming from.

Peolples level of maturity vary from person to person cant always blame gender. Why do you need proof ? You know your level of maturity is that not enough 4 you. Just because females mature before males and are often more mature then males doesn't mean that males should just give up. I know plenty of dumb and immature women. Screw statistics only you can decide what you are.

I think the "maturity gap" between men and women is narrowing. Women are just marginally more mature than men their age. Women of today have the same insecurities, fears and commitment issues as men do. This gender parity is what has led to almost an equal distribution of people in responsible jobs. Women today are targeted not because they are the "weaker sex" but because they are fast gaining ground in almost every sphere of life. Men do not want to lose their perceived "upper hand" which is why they sometimes commit violent crimes against women and trap women in unequal marriages.

There is a very clear dividing line between physical maturity and mental maturity. Women physically mature faster than men but they still have to "grow up" as much as men do.

Not all women are always more mature than all men. Even if they were, a lot more goes into making good, sound decisions than maturity. For instance, logic, experience, assertiveness, etc.

Hi Im from Indonesia, we have a female president already. Presiden Megawati Soekarnoputri. BTW our neighbour, Phillipinos, have 2, Bangladesh have 2, Pakistan 1 etc.etc. Where are you from?

In my humble opinion, one reason why women in general become mature quickly than men because they have to endure menstruations as soon as they reach the age 7 to 12 yo. This monthly painful period teach them deal with their body and emotion. Unlike boys, they don't come across these things.

Stereotypically speaking, women tend to think with their heart not their head like guys. But bear in mind, men and women are the same in many things excepts in these following 3 things:
1. Menstruation
2. Breatfeeding
3. Pregnant

It doesn't exactly answer your question, but it is interesting to read how the male and female brain works.

I wonder what you mean by "undeniable fact" as applied to a gross generalization.
