Here's an awkward fact. The use of Yahoo Answers is not confined to Americans.

About this time of day New Zealand, Australia and Japan start getting on the site. None of these are markedly Christian countries. In an hour or two the Indians will be on it and a few hours after that Europeans will be on as well. Despite reports to the contrary, Christianity is not a big thing in India, or some of the places in the middle east and a good deal of Europe could not care less about Christianity.

The kind of fundamentalist drivel we sometimes see on the site is not regarded with much respect by people in these countries, even if they happen to belong to the Roman Catholic or most Protestant churches.

Because discussions of any religion creates conflict and some people feel that they are judged. Some Christian churches are legalistic and by creating an awe of decension, people who hear judgment cringe and think of this as a hatred response. It's the same as when someone admits they are an Atheist.

It is best not to push so hard in changing the world, because it takes so much effort to make the world change, even if you have good intentions for others. Jesus Christ taught his disciples the lessons of following the truth through Love and patience. Today, people are not given enough Love and patience, and that it why they don't believe.

Yahoo don't control individuals who create websites and posts comments. I'm sure if they filter anti-christian stuff someone will cry about censorship. Religion can a sensitive issue so you're bound to get some strong opinion from people especially on internet.

I'm pretty sure if you can prove Yahoo really hate Chrisitans you might win some money may be, but I bet billion bucks you won't.

I find it to be very Christian as well as anti Christian. It is that way here because it is that way in the world. People get very offended by religion that says "I love and accept you, now what can we do to save you from your awful sinful ways'... How else can I put it? If I go to a Christian and bash his/her beliefs and the whole basis for their life and decisions.. I am going to hell.. but if they do that to me, that is 'spreading the word'... Christianity tends to bug people on a very personal level. Then people get more insulted because the Christian tends to honestly believe that they are showing love and acceptence and are really 'letting them be'.... even though they go home and pray for that person's salvation... acceptence is not in wishing someone to change... it becomes a confusing mind game.. believing something that causes you to contradict yourself in action... it becomes a very personal insult..

yahoo, does not like anyone - Phil Robertson - speaking his mind on religion. It is his right to what he believes, and he stands by it. He is a good man.

But, yahoo, sensationalizes articles about people defaming God, and our Country.

Does yahoo, not believe in either?

Where are the good stories religious people doing good things, or our soldiers sacrificing their lives for our freedom?

Why slam good people - other than foreigners - for saying, or doing what they believe in?

I don't have any trouble finding either pro-Christian or anti-Christian sources. Pehaps you need to define your searches more carefully.
