1. Dress professionally - nice colered shirt, pants that fit, nice shoes.

2. Follow instructions - If the appliucation says to print in pen, then use a pen and print

3. Be positive about previous employers - Why would I hire someone who thinks his last boss was an idiot, even he was

tough question that only you know the answers to
but I have to ask you a few more questions to help you come up with the solutions.
First off, what kind of work are you interested in? If the jobs that you want are political and you dont have any experience, GET SOME. go to counsel meetings or attend political rallies and volunteer your services. That will give you the experience you seek as well as some insight regarding how politics really do work.

Secondly, check your own attitude. Have you given up on yourself? If you go into an interview feeling as if you are going to be rejected, you will.
Think of those that turned you down as fools....
work on looking quite positive during the interviews and think of how to best respond to the 'exprience question' .

Check over your resume and cover letter if applicable.
If your cover letter talks about you being super friendly etc, yet they meet you and you are shy and timid, this will be a turn off to an interview and a red flag that something might not be quite right. Make sure the statements fit YOU!
I recall interviewing someone for a postition and she said she had excellent people skills but she would never look me in the eye and was constantly looking at the ground while she was responding.
If she did not have good contact with me, it would have been silly to think that she would have it with a customer.
SHE WAS NOT HIRED due to her poor interview. On paper she looked fantastic but her paper self and her real self were not congruent (sp)

lastly, are your job goals realistic....
I have always wanted to be a doctor, unfortunately since I have never set foot inside of a medical classroom, it is quite silly of me to apply. Obviously you would not do anything quite that drastic but you get the idea....if a job has a requirement for 4 year degree, no amount of great interviewing skill will disuade them from hiring someone else.

You must first apply for a job that you're good at and have experience and qualified in. Second is to find our from your friends if they know of any companies recruiting with your experience and qualification. This way you'll be above the odds.

Invest in acting lessons..than act the part..as if most employers deserve honesty...they are mostly old money condescending jackals...if you have to get the job to one up em..depends on the one thing or the other..depends on the job you want.
Start your own business if its one that you can start with no duckets.
