1. the united states government does not choose a new president. The people of the united states vote for who they want to be president. The electorial college uses the votes to determine how many electors vote for each presidential candidate. When a certain number of electoral votes are reached then that person becomes president.
2. yes it is true. under the American constitution a person can only be elected to the presidency 2x. or they can be president for up to 10 years (if they replace another president in the final 2 years of their term, and then elected 2x)

this makes me laugh. (NOOOO!!!!!)
However he never should have been the president in the first place.!!!!!
I've been making a joke that he will come up with some new law that will get him re elected. AS of now it's not possible.

Republicans will say hey he's the preident and we have to support him. WHY?
Some would go as far as say treason if you dont support the president.
I'm sorry but facts are facts, Liars will say anything to make sure you vote for there way of thinking.
When I ran for office someone kept writing me telling me if I didnt like the way things were done Change them.
Thats pretty much tells it all. Some people do just that. They chage whatever whenever IF they get away with it I guess that means it's done.
THEREFORE: IF Bush has Illegally been the president for 8 years why couldnt he be the president Illigally for 4 more.

Presidential elections are every 4 years, the next one is 2008. Term limits are 8 years, so Bush can't be re-elected.

You better hope it lasts a very long time. We vote for our officials in this country. We don't choose them. The election will in Nov 2008. Our presidents can only serve 2 terms in office.

I'm very sincerely hoping that you are not a citizen of this country because if you are, and you don't already know the answers to these questions, then this country has MUCH more to worry about then whether Bush is President or not.

The U.S. Government is infinite. It was here when Time began and will be here long after Time ends.

Bush can't be re-elected. I think he's supposed to have his bags packed by January of 2009.

Here's the sad part-as one bag leaves the White House, another "bag" might be moving in. :(

The Us government will last as long as it will not disintegrate like the Roman Empire. Bush can no longer be reelected because he is prevented by the Constitution.
