Lyrics are the main factor in deciding what music I listen to...I'll listen to a song from pretty much any genre as long is it has meaningful lyrics. Because I don 't speak any language other than English well enough to understand someone singing it, I don't go for songs in opther languages.

I realize that some people just like good music, and that transcends language barriers. It's just not my taste.

I listen to Hindi and Arab music all the time because I think it sounds so cool. I live in an area where there are a lot of diverse cultures around. In the morning I listen to rock.

Afrikaans. Here in South Afrika we have 11 official languages. I am bilingual in two English and Afrikaans. My hubby is Afrikaans and I'm English and we listen to both languages in music.
