I been searching around to find out exactly what is Usenet, but i'm still not sure what they are. Can someone give me a few popular usenet sites so I can see what it is?

Is www.Craigslist.org a Usenet site?

Usenet is an early discussions system on the Internet, it still exists in some forms today - Google Groups, for example is built upon the usenet base and in fact archives many old messages from years ago. Including the message where Tim Berners-Lee (inventor of the world wide web) posts about his web browser software.
