He was hit by a car today while riding his bike. He is a very atheletic and active man, and it is very possible that he will never walk again. He has 2 broken vertebrea (information is still limited as this happened so recently), and God knows what else. Please pray that he learns on God through this and also that his wife and family do too. Thank you in advance for your prayers!

Mike also seems to have a broken hip, and is in extreme pain. Please continue to pray for him.

OK. Mike has 3 broken vertebrea, 3 broken ribs, and his hip is blown (ball and socket are both broken), and his spinal cord is completely severed. He can feel nothing from just below the ribcage down. His wife is extremely overwhelmed, but the good news is that our church and several other area churches are praying and helping in any way they can. There is even an account that was opened for them by one of the churches that only mike & his wife can withdraw from, but anyone can deposit to. God is good all the time. In trouble and in peace, God is God, faithful and loving. Thank you for all your prayers, Mike & his wife are feeling very blessed by all the love that is being poured out on them.

pierre, I can only assume that you are serious. My heart goes out to you. I don't know why it is that you feel re sponsible for your friends situation, but we have a loving God that has put a plan into action so that you won't go to Hell. He sent His Son Jesus to bring you home. God, knowing everything that you and I (and everyone else in the world) would ever do, from the first lie we told to the worst thing we've ever done, sent His Son to die for our sins. God is our Father and He loves us. He wants us to come home, and has provided a way for us to get there. Forgiveness is offered to all. There is no sinner too awful, no person unloveable, unforgiveable. Please email me pierre so we can talk.

ah shame hey...

well i wish him a speedy recovery hey.. the Lord did say in his word that he shall raise us from our sick bed (should be Psalms 40:1-3) so keep the faith and he will be okay. the Lord saved his life for a reason - so he will see him through.

U're a great pal, there is power in group prayer, and the Lord did say where two or more gather in prayer He will be there...

God Bless you both..

I'm sorry to hear about Mike's injuries. I'm praying that he'll have peace, comfort and a sense of God's love throughout whatever happens, and that his family will, too.
