I understand Lakers and Clipper share the same floor in Staples Center. I wonder how the management be able to change the floor markings when these teams play against their opponents. The floor is marked with Lakers logo when they play and then few days later with Clippers logo.

They don't use the same floor. Each team has a different floor with their own colors and logos on them which are laid down for each home game. They even have their own backboards with the team web address printed on them.

Those times when both teams play home games on the same day, say Clippers play at noon, Lakers play at 6:30, a crew comes out after the Clippers game, takes up the Clipper floor and backboards, and puts down the Lakers floor and backboards.

There's also an ice rink under the floor for the LA Kings, and the WNBA LA Sparks also have their own court.

It's not ...stickers or magic or even special lighting..,,each team (the lakers and the clippers)..have there own floor(it's like a big wooden puzzle that you can take apart)...the team logos are permanatly attached to the floors. When the game is over a crew can disassemble one floor and put together the next floor(it's really pretty easy)

It's done with lights. It's an illusion.

Have you seen all the construction going on outside the Staple Center? They're making a hotel.

,,,like they don't have a gazillion dollars already....

One of the logos is larger then the other, it overlays the other on, it can be lifted up, just as they do for the NCAA toury

They use a something that is equivalent to a sticker, so all they have to do is unpeel and add the new team.
