It's unlikely that the RPM of a small generator is as low as 1,000, since a small engine has very little power at that speed. It's probably at least 2,000 RPM. If this is a 60 Hz generator, it's probably either 2,400 or 3,600 RPM.

You're probably right on the 950 VA. The 100GF probably signifies the engine type, mounting frame receptacle options, and other such variables.
