Let me put it this way. When was the last time 65,000 fans packed a stadium to watch a lacrosse game. When was the last time a lacrosse player signed a $100M dollars contract? When was the last time you heard lacrosse mentioned on ESPN? (Except of the Duke rape charges.) And when was the last time you saw a lacrosse fan wearing a T-shirt with their favorite player on it?
I rest my case!

it really depends on who u are, and wether ur talking about playing or watching...my thought is I have been playing baseball my whole life, and now that games are serious there is no better feeling the knowing some buddies u played with against or with that are now in the big leagues... like last years AA player of the year Travis Snider of the Blue Jays grew up in my area, and we would always face eachother, and I'm not saying I'm amasing, but he was and everyone knew it... but I honestly can't remember if he ever got a hit off me... and he knew it, we had it out for eachother, we talked **** all the time, it was fun... and i know in the next couple years when I see him playing live or on TV I'm gonna be so pumped, and brag that I struck him out and ****... now watching baseball is almost toture, it's usually way to slow to stay concentrated...although fans in chicago, boston, and new york, make the game what it is, cause of there devotion, and passion for the game!!! as for lacrosse, I used to play hockey and football, and it looks like a blast to me, but unless you are in very good shape the sport is just not for you...so I guess if ur a bigger tougher guy that has a lil more specific skill like u throw a baseball hard, or a football, but ur not the greatest runner, im sure baseball is for u...now if u can juke in a game a bball, find open guys in bball or soccer, and maybe love to hit like hockey and football, im sure you'd like lacrosse... I really think lacrosse is getting a lot more popular, in my area (SEATTLE, WA) we just added it as a sport to a bunch of private schools where all high schoolers can go an play, plus we have a lot of summer teams... it's just a new thing and I bet by the time that the kids in elementary school get to high school, there will be a lot more interest in it!!! hope that answered ur question!

It depends on your defininiton of "better". If you mean which sport do you like better - well lets say the next lacrosse match I will watch will be the first lacrosse match I will watch.
On the other hand if by better you mean which is the more challenging sport to play - well famed Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown, who might be the greatest professional athlete of all time, was said to be a better lacrosse player then a football player.

I prefer baseball because I've played it longer. But I played lacrosse a few months ago just for kicks and it was tons of fun. It's really a growing sport in California and for good reason.

Baseball! I believe America's pastime is the better sport because of the strategy involved. Each pitcher and catcher has to decide which pitch is the best to throw to get the batter out. The defense has to adjust to certain strategies such as hitting the cut off man, looking for steals, bunts, hit and run situations, and the outfielders have to position themselves according to where a pitch is going to be thrown versus how and where a hitter most likely would hit the ball. Also, the batting lineup is arranged according to the possibilities of getting on base & moving runners along to score runs. It's a chess game & lasts long enough to get your money's worth.

does anyone not living on the east coast even know what lacrosse is?? ive talked to people from the midwest who have never heard of it. has anyone ever tried to watch a game?- it is very boring with little to no strategy involved. a player can basically carry the ball the length of the field and just shoot into the goal uncontested. the "sport" is very primitive and is unpopular for a reason.

ok seriously, baseball is for losers. all these people are saying it is boring and easy... but if they had ever tried it, they would see how absolutely AMAZING it is. And by the way, lacrosse is on TV!
