We where highschool sweethearts and together for 15 years. We have 2 small boys and lots of good times and memorys. Well about 3 months ago she had an affair and left for her new fling. She is still with him. I was a good husband and father and the other night when talking about the boys on the phone I asked her if she ever thought of me. Well she coldly said "NO". I was so hurt because I still have feelings for her. She acts like I was a jerk but I know how I was I was always there for her. Can somebody really turn off feelings after a 15 year relationship? Could it be the new guy brainwashing her? I should be the one pist off but I'm a really easy going guy. Is she lying and still thinks of me even around the ahole who fell for a married women?

Who cares if she still thinks about you the only thing you should be thinking about is your children and how to make sure they don't grow up to be like there lying cheating mother. There are many reasons for what she did I am sure some understandable and some selfish and worthless but never is there an excuse for cheating it is as simple as I am not happy with you anymore and feel the need to explore other facets in life which is exactly what you need to do. She left the guy for you he is not brain washing her this is how she feels. Quit trying to make excuses for her that will never help you move on. Even if she still does think of your and or at some point might want you back why would you subject yourself with being with someone so eager to drop you for a guy she barely knows she will do it again and again. Sorry

There is no way she doesn' t still have feeling for you and her abrupt "NO" is her defense mechanism to help her feel better about leaving. I sure hope she left the 2 boys behind with you or at least you have custody 50% of the time It not seek it. Evidently you were too easy going and she wanted more passion. (that is not a dish on you, just a possible reason for the change of scenery for her) I think she will be back.

if u think of yourself as a perfect man it doesn't mean u really are or she thinks that about u. if u were that perfect for her she would have never ever left for someone else. women value good men and would never have a fling for nothing. so i say abandoning u for someone else after 15 years was a serious matter for her so i think she was saying the truth that she has no feelings for u.

my friend thse questions are for the birds! she forgot about you about 3-5 years ago....guys want things to remain the same...women want men to change...you still have your sweetheart feelings and I'm sorry for you....but she left you long before she went with this new guy.... news break.... she's been with MANY more men before she left with this one. thats the way these types operate. advice .....move on chap!

It is possible that she has realized the error of her ways but she is too proud to admit it. Then again maybe she has been unhappy for a while and finally found a way out. In either case, next time you talk to her, mention divorce and see what kind of reaction you get. There, you will have your answer.
