I have been using my husbands e-mail address and in the inbox it says his name...I havent realized that his name appears in the inbox till now...does that disqualify me as a candidate even though my massage has my full name in it?

This does not disqualify you as such. However, depending on the kind of job you want to have, it may leave a bad impression. There are positions where it is necessary to know about computers and communication channels, and using somebody else's email address suggests that you don't know enough about it and don't care enough about it to own one. That reduces your chances to get selected for a job like software developer, consultant, or a management position. If however the job you applied for doesn't require frequent use of email and Internet (e. g. a cook, a supermarkt cashier or a worker in a plant) it won't hurt that you are no communication guru, you just have to make sure you reply quickly to email sent to your husband's account. Nevertheless, you can get your own account, it is easy and costs you nothing.

My wife uses my email account for any reason she needs. She identifies herself in the body of the email and that is good enough for whoever she is sending too.
You will find that for personal security in just the telephone book, a woman with a published telephone number is more likely to publish that number under an initial instead of a first name.
I would see no problem with a woman wanting personal security using a males name in the heading of an email. Whether it is her fathers name, a brothers name or even her husbands, it should not matter to potential employers, if this is something they understand from you, your personal security, as long as you identify yourself properly to them.

It's not really a bad thing. The person who receives your e-mails won't think bad. They will probably just your husband sent it for you
