People have been breeding two different breed purebred dogs and then selling their puppies for big money. LIke there's Labordoodles, Labordore retrievers and Poodles. Aren't they just mutts? They wouldn't have any AKC Papers so why waste the money.

I love all types of dogs, I just meant why spend all that money for a mutt when you can adopt one.

I agree. They are called "designer" dogs. Whatever! Puggle=Pug and Beagle, Labradoodle=Labrador and Poodle. I understand that mutts need love too but why in the world would you pay $2000 for one? Go to your local animal shelter and give a home to a deserving animal.

All dogs are mixed with more than one breed.. How do you think they started out? That God just made all these "breeds" appear one day?
I agree that some of it is out of hand, but you really do not have the right to judge people who want a mixed dog that has not just mated on the corner with any ol dog!
People have the right to own what they want and pay what they feel is exceptable. AKC papers doesn't mean anything unless you want to show the dog and most people do not want to show..
And not everyone wants to "save" a shelter dog, most are there because they have serious issues.. It is just not your right to judge,

We have what we call a CHUG, which is part chihuahua and part pug. She is one of the best pups we ever had, PLUS we got her for free! We used to get purebreds but lost them all due to the breeders not being careful in mating 2 dogs with the same father, for instance. We spent much $$$$$ on these pups.
