I call it a couch, but that's what I have. I've seen some couches that can only be called a sofa - (why??? because they cost a lot of money???) - and I don't know what exactly I would define as a davenport... maybe something small, boxy and uncomfortable...

If I can lay down on it in my entirety, it's a couch. If my feet hang off the edge, it's a sofa.
