wow, look at peter B, you can tell he doesnt know basketball and doesnt even follow his own team. if he did, he would know that the warriors beat dallas twice already this year. too many people dont realize the warriors are better than their record shows and they dont know how many injuries they have had. they dont know how important baron is to us.
and im probably the biggest warriors fan on the boards here but i think its a long shot that they make it. they let too many close games go and injuries hurt them badly. even if they get in, i dont think they can beat the mavs in a 7 game series. maybe they can get 1 or 2 but not 4. but, the warriors can be a overlooked team and if healthy can cause some stir ups.
oh and people who dont watch warriors basketball shouldnt respond because all they do is look at our record and judge us. they dont realize that we beat utah, we beat detroit twice, we beat dallas twice, we beat san antonio, we beat houston, we beat denver.

"No. The Warriors are a bad team." ... what a lame reply. The GSW have played injured all year and now are finally healthy. Get this in the last 5 games they beat the Pistons, Nuggets, Clippers AND the Mavs... All playoff calibur teams AND they dominated those games (only loss was when Davis was hurt in Port). Not only that but the GSW have won the last 4 games against the Mavs! I think the difference is the dominance of the guards(Davis/J-Rich/Ellis) vs. the Mavs. If your a Mavs fan pray that the GSW don't get the #8 seed.

You know what one win does not a season make. And one loss does not a season end. Yes you won last night but and this is a big but do you really think you could win out in a seven game series. Against the Mavs. You are having playoff dreams. First you have to win a few more games and make the playoffs. Than you would have to try to win against us in the playoffs. I don't envision that happening.

on the telecast they mentioned that jason terry last year said something like "we want no part of these guys". they are 4-0 with davis, jackson, harrington, richardson, and biedrins in the starting lineup. and for the comment they only beat the celtics and hawks? it's actually worse, they haven't beat the hawks this year. if they play the way they did against the mavs, they have a good shot at making the playoffs. not sure if they can eliminate them but they would give it their best shot.
they are not the 3rd worst team in the league if they are one game out of the final playoff spot. if you check the box score, 4 players with 16 points, pietrus off the bench leading with 20...and 3 players had 7 assists...that's team ball

Warriors are in a right track now, but beating Mavs in the playoffs? i think its beyond the reach.. Warriors have one of the best starting 5 in the league now, but with Nowitzki, Terry, and Howard playing, its quite impossible for Warriors to beat 'em (for now).. Maybe next season, the team still need chemistry..
Warrior's O - good
Mav's O - Terrific

You know what...this is a good question...actually the warriors matchup better with the mavs than any other team in the league could.
I think they won the season series over the mavs last year and they won tonight plus Don Nelson knows their system inside out.
Other than Josh Howard, who plays adequate one on one D for the Mavs??? The Mavs are a good defensive team but other than Josh Howard, the rest are below average defenders. Greg Buckner is too old and Devean George is too slow to keep up with quick guards that Warriors have such as J-Rich, Pietrus, Stephen Jackson. If Howard sticks on J-Rich, who's gonna handle Stephen Jackson??? Who's gonna stick with B-Diddy? Monte Ellis?? Pietrus???
Oh yea, who's gonna Handle Dirk?? Al Harrington is like a few inches shorter than Dirk, but other wise has the same dimensions has him and Andres Biedrins ain't a bad defender either.
Plus you got B-Diddy at the point, Monte Ellis comin of the bench (who could stick with Devin Harris) and Matt Barnes along with Jasickevicus.
The Mavs dont have any big post up players, so warriors shouldn't have any problem with them in the paint.
Dirk is 7 feet but he shoots more fadeaways than jumphooks, so yea Warriors could actually beat the Mavs! There I said it!

im sorry pal but u crossed the line. the warriors are probably the 3rd worst team in the nba. they might be able to beat the celtics and hawks, and thats it. Just because the warriors got 1 big win all season doesnt mean they have any chance of beating the mavs again. The Mavs all season haven't lost to a team 2wce yet. every winning streek has to come to an end, but shamefully for us, we had to lose to Golden State.

haha man i wish i went to the game tonight!!! that was insane! the warriors are mavericks killers... seriously. i think they're the only team to have beaten them both times they've faced each other this season! that truly is impressive. anyway, i believe they have the talent to knock them off especially if... b-diddy and j-rich stay healthy the rest of the season, monta and andris continue to have the best season of their careers, al and stephen keep doing their thing, and the bench keep on contributing! and i have high hopes that they can make waves in the playoffs if they play the way they've been playing this month... best defense is a good offense! (its the throwback jerseys... they're lucky haha!)
yikes... it gives me chills just thinking about how great the "new" warriors can be when everybody is healthy and playing well together! that's been their problem after the trade... our co-captains were injured so we werent able to see what the "new" team could really do together. now we're seeing it and im already thinking about next season! haha. go dubs! =)

HONESTLY, the warriors are one dangerous team when they are all healthy. I believe they can reach the playoffs, and if they do...the mavericks will definitely fear them more than any other team.
BUT....coming out of this drought to enter the playoffs and WINNING THE CHAMPIONSHIP is highly unlikely. They've come a long way, and getting that 8th spot is just the hope we need to look forward to the next season.
