Unfortunately, if it's 95% acrylic, you probably won't be able to stretch it out very much, so restoring the size probably won't be possible.
The link below has a few tips that you can try, but I'm pretty sure that those are intended for wool sweaters.

answer, sorry honey ive tried everything but i don't think you can. the best thing i know of to do is when you have shrinkable things is to wash in cold water and dry on low heat. OH! never mind i remember one thing that worked for me, i don't remember what it was made of but, i soaked it in really cold water for like 2 1/2 hours and then hung it on the clothes line outside in the fresh air and it came back to its origional size. you could also hang it outside in the rain on the clothesline and the rain might bring it back from all the force of the water running through it. i know these things sound really crazy but sometimes they work for certian materials.
