stream of hexane and ethanol and rod?

hey wat u observe if u apply a charged rod just like u do wit water but instead to a stream of hexane and ethanol?...separately...

The ethanol will bend towards the rod, because it is a polar molecule. The hexane won't be affected at all by the rod, because it's non-polar.
