eBay charges sellers several kinds of fees: listing fees which start at 20¢ and final value fees which start at around 5% but drop for larger sales.

The easiest way to figure out your fees in advance is to use one of the many free online eBay + PayPal calculators so you'll know how much to charge as shipping and hanling to cover your fees. Also it's a good idea to check previous sale prices of closed auctions for similar items that you plan to list - so you'll know what you're likely to sell them for.
