Hi I hope someone can help me. I am pregnant with my third child and am fairly confident through womens intuition that the baby is a girl (not confirmed) though my dilema is the name. On principle I do not want a top 20 popular name. I have a daughter Lily Jennelle and a son Jarrod Robert, my husband chose these name and now it is my turn. The middle names are after family and Lily was chosen prior to it becoming a top name. I like unusual but not crazy and difficult to spell also the boys name should be a strong mans name.

My name is Kristy Ann (I was named after my fathers grandmother whos surname was Christie my mother changed the spelling) So I was thinking of mashing my names into one. What do we think of Kyanne for a girl or Kyan for a boy?

Also Hedley for a middle name either way as this is my mothers maiden name?

What about Kallyn for a girl? Hedley is a great name. It would work as a first name for a boy or girl.
I like unusual names too. They are much more fun. The best is my nephew Crusoe- his mother's name is Robyn so my brother can introduce him as Robyn's son Crusoe.

Kyanne Hedley is not bad for a girl. And I guess Kyan Hedley is not bad for a boy.

Why not honor your great grandmother and go with Christie Hedley for a girl and Christian or Christoper Hedley for a boy.

Let us know what you decide to name your baby. Good luck and Congratulations!!

I think you will be quite happy with whatever name you choose.

Some rare names are:

Girls:
Kayla Rayne (pronounced Rain)
Kylie Rian (pronounced like a boys name Ryan)
Maia (pronounced Mia) Grace
McKayla
Twyla Serene (Serene means calm)
Eniah Maryam (Eniah means gods gift)

Boys:
Ryan
Tyson (Tye)
David (Dave)
Bradley (Brad)
Douglas (Doug)
Kent

I hope this helps. Good luck.
