How do you get the registation code for AVG free download?

Magority of people say to download AVG because its free, but it asks for a activation code to get rid of the viruses. How do you get it without buying it? I don't understand.

AVG 7.5 Free Edition is definitely FREE, and you don't need any activation code to use it.
The only time you do need an activation code is when you run a trial version and want to upgrade (i.e. continue using it).
To download the Free version of AVG, click on the link below and scroll down to free anti-virus software.
