if somebody know the range of the hall sender for volkswagen jetta, and how can I test that?

If your talking about the Distributor hall affect sensor, test it with a DVOM (digital volt ohm meter) and put it on A/C voltage and put the leads onto the connector and crank the engine for any A/C voltage. If you have voltage coming from the sensor while cranking it is good.
