I'm due about the 22nd of this month but I've noticed that I used to get the Braxton Hicks in my 7-8th month but they seemed to have disappeared a couple of weeks ago.
Is this normal? I thought that they were supposed to get stronger as I go along. I don't feel anything but the normal pelvic pressure when he dropped. No menstral-like cramps or anything.

Yeah, Braxton Hicks are really weird and can do strange things. It's normal for them to go away and then show up and then vanish, and then have them really strong for the whole day and then....well, you get the picture.

And about cramping...well, you will! Good luck mom! And remember, drugs are our friend!!!

Braxton Hicks contractions tend to come somewhat more often, but until you get to your last few weeks, they should remain infrequent, irregular, and essentially painless. By the time you're within a couple of weeks of your due date, these contractions may get more intense and more frequent, and cause some discomfort. In the days or weeks before labor, Braxton Hicks contractions may intermittently become rhythmic, relatively close together, and even painful, at times fooling you into thinking you're in labor. But unlike true labor, during this so-called "false labor" the contractions don't grow consistently longer, stronger, and closer together. If you're not sure about anything, just contact your doctor to be safe.

Braxton Hicks contractions are basically practise contractions for your body, they are not meant to get stronger, they are preparing your body for the real thing, they actually diminish closer to the due date, so that you don't don't mix up Braxton Hicks contractions to the real ones, real ones are way more intense, you will notice the difference when your Real contractions start...Once the baby have lodged into your pelvis, its known as the calm before the storm, basically your body is ready and its just waiting for the right time, take advantage of this time and try to rest..
Good Luck and congratulations..
