Yes, you can. One computer will support maximum 4 hard drives. But one we have to use for CD Rom. If you are used only one CD ROM and one hard drive, you can add 2 extra hard drives. There are two IDE connectors in the motherboard. We can connect 2 hard drives with one IDE cable. One will be master and one slave. You can see on the backside of the Hard drive, 6 pins with one jumper. All mostly the master setting is using with jumper, without jumper, that is slave. Then connect the power supply. If you are using medium type computer (p3 or p4) it will automatically detect hard dives. After loaded the windows, you can see extra partitions(If you already partitioned the hard drive) in My Computer folder.

Yes you can add more internal hard drive to your computer. Just set the second hard drive as slave. But it is easier and more convenient if you use usb external hard drive.

In either case, you don't need to download anything to make it work.

Your exterior no longer ordinary force ought to coach as an icon on your reveal screen. purely drag and drop each thing you desire on that force. in case you desire to sparkling area on your gadget's no longer ordinary force then do no longer forget approximately to delete despite you progression onto the Lacie as quickly as you have checked that it has transferred effectively. in case you desire to initiate putting stuff immediately on the Lacie then purely specify it because of the fact the trip spot whenever you keep something. you have a huge volume of capacity because it stands and that i'm uncertain why you desire to head stuff onto the Lacie, except that's for motives of backup, that's clearly a good concept. that's a shame you're actually not on a Mac, as you will possibly then have, on Leopard, the superb Time gadget facility which will propose in no way dropping something ever back. in case you do no longer think of you're lots good at computers make your next one a Mac - they're extra straightforward, smarter, and cooler than a computing device, and lots extra handy to apply. Vista is the place Mac grew to become into approximately ten years in the past.
