Okay, give me the BEST thing about the Philippines, and the WORST thing about the Philippines!
Please give an answer for both. All countries have good and bad qualities!

ehem...being a filipino myself...
BEST: natural resources, beautiful natural sites by accident (e.g. Mt. Mayon), people like me (of course), many more of course...
WORST: corrupt offcials, foreigners who doesn't know how to respect us filipinos, and commenters above who sez' we are undisciplined, and of course not to mention.....THE DISGUSTING SPANISH COLONIAL HERITAGE!!!!

The Best:
Prices are very low in everything compared to the States. No matter how much I spend, I still save money.
I am not a womanizer because I am married but the filipina women are very beautiful and sexy.
My Wife's family are very good cooks. Their food is very good. Sweet innocent kids like to talk to me and they enjoy when I come around. They have fun.
Playing basketball with some of the young guys.
They think that I am a basketball player but I am not.(laughing)
Sam Miguel Beer and Red Horse. Red Horse is too strong for me it always knock me out.
I like having house parties and visitors coming to the house to socialize. I am cool with everybody.
I enjoy Kareoke because people love the way I sing. I always draw a crowd of kids who like to hear me sing.
The Worst:
Con artist,scammers,pretenders and I know who they are when they come around.
I don't like when SOME filipino's ask very personal Questions.
I would comment on the Government but everyone already know about that situation so I will just keep it to myself.
I don't like to wash in cold water but I can deal with it.
I don't like rainy season.
The scam artists think its my first time in the Philippines.
People already know about scam artists before they arrive in any country.
I do not go out at night because I do not trust anyone around me except my wife and her family.
Some filipino's show their jealousy toward each other.
Overall Philippines is good. If you you show respect, the people will show more respect.

The best is the Philippines in its self but the worse is the Politics and the bad habits of our people.

Best:
-nice big gigantic modern style malls
-high level of education
-delicious food
-hospitable people
-good pinoy shows
-Enchanted Kingdom
-Star City
-cheap stuff in the store
-Good service in PAL (philippiine airlines)
Worst:
-how you see people in the street looking and begging for food because they are so poor
-environment in some places is not as clean as America
-Calamities that have damaged the country's natural inhabitat
- kids in high school who everyday cuts school

Best: Food, weather, natural resources (beaches, jungles, mountains), Luneta Park in the AM, Baywalk, people who you can start a conversation with for no aparent reason, the ability to discount even at major stores, home massages for PHP250
Worst: Traffic, Pollution (garbage, water, air), lack of toilet paper in most public restrooms, not being allowed to wear slippers in the LTO, lack of education/empowerment in regards to women's reproductive rights, lack of jobs with living wage

best thing about the Philippines: i think the people ,because we Filipinos are lighthearted we can laugh at anything,everything under the sun.our politics,our poverty....we almost always quick to put humour in any situation.
worst thing about the philippines:kanya kanya,kami kami,tayo tayo system.

CHEAP!! ( WHEN YOU'RE EARNING BIG AMOUNTS F MONEY) THE BEACHES, MOST PEOPLE THE PARTIES, THE MALLS, MALL OF ASIA!!, WILDLIFE, NATURAL RESOURCES, THE FOOD!! SOME OTHER STUFF LIKE JEWELRY AND RARE SOUVENIERS.(THEY'RE ALSO CHEAP)
WORST:
POLITICS, UNCLEAN PUBLIC TOILETS, UNDISCIPLINED PEOPLE, CON ARTISTS, POLLUTION.
