UNIQLO, I think. They have many stores all over Japan and some overseas as well. Price seems reasonable to me.
You can visit their website here and find out store location, collections, price and so on.

Muji and Uniqlo is equivalent to Giordano.
They are located almost everywhere in Tokyo, in areas like Ikebukuro, Harajuku etc. Price ranges from 1000yen to 10,000yen.
Other worth buying things in Tokyo, is the Blue Label Burberry bags which is available only in Japan and nowhere else and is cheaper than normal series.

Tokyo: Uniqlo, GAP are everywhere, shinjuku, shibuya, ueno...
Osaka: Uniqlo, GAP in shinsaibashi, umeda hep^5 etc. RIO in underground namba.
Price Range: Uniqlo- camis from 600yen during sale - mode range of 8000yen jackets.
GAP: 2000yen for tees... (GREAT bargains during sale!900yen for tees?)
RIO: i bought a 800yen trenchcoat...and much more!
go during sale periods (esp new year sale)... everywhere has great discounts... shoes are good to buy in small shops around... but shoes are generally more expensive and steep. bags are good in uniqlo, gap.
clothes...i like RIO!
for more steeper range of clothes, try cecil mcbee, agnis b, tsumori chisato, swordfish...etc. they have lots of speciality shops around with all unique items. u rarely find repeated stuff around!

KENZO is a big Japanese brand. If you are willing to wait in line you could buy some Bathing Ape clothes and shoes.
