Your windows software are not licensed, If you bought your computer from someone else you may want to ask them for original Copy of that windows software. Other than that it's just an annoyance, just keep ignoring it and you should still be able to use your pc and download some updates.

If you are the original owner of the computer, you can
1, Run regedit (click start and type regedit) and go to:
HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEvents
on the right double click on "OOBEtimer" and change at least one digit of this value to deactivate windows. (BE VERY CAREFULL TO ONLY DO THIS IF YOU SCREW IT UP YOU COULD MESS THE PC UP TO WHERE YOU HAVE TO REINSTALL WINDOWS)..

2. Choose run from start menu and type in this command:
%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
to get the activation screen and go to the second option which is activate by phone.

3. In the new screen choose the option to change product key, and type in the new product key. Click activate. if it does not work, there is a thing where you can call microsoft, They ask you where you baught your pc and when. (you may have to click the generate code after entering your serial in, to get the phone in thing to work, (if the phone in thing dont work thats where they ask you to talk to a support specialist, who asks you where and when you purchased your pc.).

4. Close that window, reboot your system and enter the command in step 2 for the second time to verify your activation you should see "windows is already activated".

It sounds like you have an update from Microsoft you may have downloaded, its the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification update, hence it is notifying you of possibly not having a "Genuine" copy of the operating system, take a look here:

If you pirated Windows software, you are out of luck. If you have a genuine copy, you should be prompted to enter the security key. The key will be found on the side of the machine in the Windows decal. If you are trying to clone or fake it...out of luck.

go to the microsoft website and you can have your version checked. if it was a bootleg, you'll have to purchase a new one. also i recommend if it's bootleg, don't continue with it. there are so many security updates that it is not worth it.
